Thanks to the Siskel Film Center, a second drawing was held for free pairs of passes to Noir Noël, celebrating the perennially fascinating cycle of moody crime movies that arose from the anxieties of post-World War II America. The Reason: Gothic model and performer, Lycanthra, suffered severe burn injuries during her recent performance as magician's assistant to Ron Fitzgerald on the fateful demon night of 6.6.06. Ron was also injured, but luckily he has insurance. Lycanthra doesn't and her emergency room and recovery medical bills have soared to over $6000! Lycanthra is an independant artist and member of the gothic community. As anyone knows, neither status affords a gracious income!
